Throughout the past 2+ years Cape May Stage has been committed to following the safety standards and protocols set forth by state and local governments along with the Actor’s Equity Union and our fellow theaters in the Broadway League.
Accordingly, as of July 1st, we no longer require masks to be worn during performances at Cape May Stage. In order to ensure the safety of all attendees, we encourage the use of optional masks and ask that patrons respect everyone’s individual decision on this matter. We also ask that if you do not feel well that you stay home.
COVID-19 Policy
Cape May Stage is committed to the health and safety of our patrons, our staff, and our actors and crew. While we are no longer requiring masks to be worn while inside the theater, we continue to perform the following safety protocols.
- The common spaces in the theater are equipped with hand sanitizer stations for easy access by our patrons.
- The theater is deep cleaned on a regular basis by a professional cleaning crew.
- All high touch areas throughout the theater are cleaned and wiped down on a daily basis.
- Assistive listening devices will be cleaned and sanitized after each use.
- Complimentary masks are provided at the Box office for patrons who prefer to wear them.
Despite our best efforts, we cannot absolutely guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 while attending an event at Cape May Stage. Please be aware that the risk of such exposure exists in any public place or large gathering. Please take this into consideration before buying tickets. By visiting Cape May Stage, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Air Filtering Systems
In 2021, Cape May Stage invested in an updated air filtration system to ensure that you are breathing the highest quality air while inside our theater. This system is serviced and cleaned on a regular schedule.
