The National Playwright Symposium brings talented emerging and professional playwrights together with some of the world’s most renowned artists in an environment of community, creativity and craft. Held every spring at Cape May Stage, the 2022 symposium featured Tony and Pulitzer-prize winning playwright Marsha Norman.
The 2022 symposium culminated with a reading of new short plays written by the participants on Thursday, May 19 at 7 pm. As part of the NJ Stages Festival, this special event was free and open to the public.
